Other Exercise


Listen to your body and incorporate other forms of exercise if you need to!

Although yoga improved my flexibility and strength, I felt I also needed to incorporate some cardio-oriented and ab exercises into my routine. 

I used a combination of YouTube videos, twenty-minute sessions on a treadmill, or just taking a walk outdoors to meet this need, whenever it was convenient. Anything that gets you moving and your heart racing is good. It could be Zumba or a bike ride.

Again, listen to your body! It will tell you what additional exercises you need to add to your routine.

If yoga is enough for you, that is fine.

Every Little Bit Counts

As I had left my job and was not working, it was much easier to incorporate additional exercises into my routine around the children and family. 

If you are a working person, this may not always be possible.  

Just do what you can when there is a chance to and when it is feasible.
