Values

What are your values in life?

‘Try not to become a man of success but rather a man of value’. (Albert Einstein)

‘Great values are built on strong moral foundations. Men become great when they allow these values to take root within their souls and live by them’. (Lincoln Patz)

Reflection of You

Build a foundation for your life based upon your values, and live by those values through your behaviours and actions.

 This will bring you happiness.

No matter what you do, don’t forget the key values you hold dear to your heart.

Whatever work you decide to do, take pride in it.

Allow work to reflect who you are and your values as an individual.

Decision-Making

Once you define your values, don’t compromise them.

When making decisions in your life, refer back to your list of values to guide you.

‘It’s not hard to make decisions once you know what your values are’. (Roy E. Disney)

Go easy on yourself if sometimes you slip up and revert to old behaviours.

It takes time, practice and perseverance to live a life based upon values after many years of not having a value-based foundation.

Changes

Values can change and evolve over time based on your life situation.

Acknowledge this and adapt your actions and behaviour accordingly.

My first values looked different than they do now.

As I moved through my journey, I added gratitude, service and compassion to my list.
